MOTIVATION TO LOSE WEIGHT It is very likely that if you take at least 20 minutes to eat your meal, you won’t feel hungry anymore: Please Google “Eating slowly” and research it yourself (I will give you a few RELIABLE links below). If you drink water you will feel BOTH full and satisfied (Two different things).
However if you are not motivated to lose weight and if #food is delicious, you will simply continue #overeating even if you are full AND satisfied (Many people including myself have that problem, we all love food).
We definitely need MOTIVATION, mental preparedness (awareness), planning and discipline. Why planning? What happens if after a delicious meal, when you are not hungry anymore your wife (spouse) says: Hey! I forgot that we have cheese cake (Just an example)
I am an Industrial Engineer, not a Doctor, nutriologist (nutritionist) or dietitian but I have been studying the problem for some time and I will refer you to reliable sources like HARVARD and others that confirm that eating slowly may get you satisfied with less food (There is a difference between being full and being satisfied; your stomach can be full, even bloated and you can still be hungry if you eat too fast).
Check the links below; the last one stresses the importance of MOTIVATION. (Google “eating slowly” and you will find many more).
Please RT if you found this useful and contact me if you are an expert and you think I should add something or I am simply wrong; I know this does not apply to everybody, some people are #overeaters because of psychological problems, bad habits acquired since childhood etc.
#Obesity is linked to #type2#diabetes, heart attack, #stroke, hypertension high cholesterol… I will not continue simply because all of this problems are very well known including the fact that we are not happy when we look ourselves in the mirror and also our jeans don’t fit anymore (Jeans don’t lie) and what about that beautiful dress that you can’t wear anymore? –or the one you would buy if only you could lose some weight?. Is this enough MOTIVATION for you?
